A Slido alternative for small organizations

Live Q&A and polls used to be a tool for big conferences. Today a monthly team meeting, a training for twenty people or a quiz night benefits just as much. Small organizations, however, quickly hit the limits of the established tools.
What small teams run into
Based on public reviews and pricing pages as of March 2026, these are the most common complaints about Slido:
- Three polls per event on the free plan. One icebreaker, one feedback question and one vote, and the event is out of polls.
- Export and images behind a paywall. Downloading the results or adding an image to a poll requires a paid plan.
- Prices built for large companies. Slido Engage costs 17.50 USD per month billed yearly, Professional 75 USD and Enterprise 200 USD per month.
- Weak branding and fewer question types than many organizers need.
- The participant mobile app was discontinued in March 2026.
What a generous free plan should include
We built Voxpla around a simple idea: the free plan has to be genuinely usable.
- No limit on polls or questions. The only limit is the number of participants: up to 100 per event and 3 active events at a time.
- Export to CSV and XLSX and image upload on every plan, the free one included.
- Logo and brand color from day one.
- No app and no registration for participants. They join from the browser with a QR code or a six character code.
When you outgrow the free plan
Pro costs 12 EUR per month or 99 EUR per year and allows up to 1,000 participants per event, removes the Voxpla watermark and adds a custom event link. Team costs 39 EUR per month or 349 EUR per year for up to 2,500 participants and five team seats. Prices exclude VAT and you can cancel with one click in the customer portal.
Participants never pay, and your data stays on servers in the EU.
